Native seeds and area authors present at Wimberley library

As part of their many dynamic and diverse programs, the Wimberley Village Library is hosting two noteworthy events in November. One kicks off the Grand Opening of the new seed library and the other gives the public the opportunity to meet area authors.

Terry and Madonna Lynn, volunteers with Keep Wimberley Beautiful, will be on hand to usher in the Grand Opening of the seed library November 8, at 11 a.m.

Created in conjunction with the Native Plant Society of Texas, the repository of Hill Country seeds provides a valuable resource for gardeners. The new service allows members to take out native seeds for planting and to donate other species harvested in the Hill Country.
