Early voting began October 21 and early voting polls will remain available during posted hours until November 1. Poll hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
Wimberley voting locations are the Texan Academy at the former Scudder Elementary school, 400 Green Acres Drive, and at the Community Center, Johnson Hall, 14068 RR12.
For Wimberley voters who find that they need transportation to the polls, the Capital Area Rural Transportation System will offer free rides to and from the polls on CARTS Country buses for both early voting and again on Election Day, November 5.
Call 512-478-7433 to schedule a Wimberley to Wimberley ride 24 hours in advance. Normal hours of CARTS Country Bus operations in Wimberley are Tuesday, Thursday, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and on Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
