The Wimberley Lions Club invites area residents to a funfilled afternoon 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26th at the Market Day Pavilion. Lions are honoring volunteers who make Wimberley the “Little Bit of Heaven” that distinguishes our community. The celebration includes free hot dogs, chips and drinks served by School Yard Dogs. Local musician Bo Moore will provide the entertainment. Visitors can learn about volunteering opportunities that make a difference with local nonprofits and the Wimberley Lions.
The Lions volunteer celebration coincides with Keep Wimberley Beautiful’s scheduled annual cleanup and shred day, which will be held from 8 a.m. to noon in the Lions Club parking lot.
