The Hill Country Honeys are holding, what else, but a HoneyFest on October 25 and 26 at The Ponderosa, 1909 Coleman’s Canyon Road, in Wimberley. The two-day outdoor event features classic and Americana music.
On Friday, six singer- songwriters will perform in the round in an intimate four-hour session where they will share their music and the journeys that led them to create their music.
Performing on Friday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. are Walt Wilkins, Bill Small, Elliot Rogers, David Byboth, Rose Gabriel and Susan Gibson.
On Saturday, five bands will take the stage beginning at noon. The lineup includes the Michael James Band, the Hill Country Ramblers, Los Gatos, the Hill Country Honeys and the Beat Root Revival.
Food, beverages and vendors will be available. A silent auction will take place on Saturday and the proceeds will benefit the Wimberley Watershed Association.
The HoneyFest is a BYOB affair and guests are instructed to bring a chair.
