Fashion show brings out the stylish

The Civic Club’s highly anticipated Style Show brought together the stylish to view apparel and accessories from Wimberley vendors last week. Held at the Community Center, the event engaged the talents of 13 vendors and fourteen models, three of them male, who wore fashions for the Fall and Winter season. Trish Rigdon coordinated the show and Ken Strange emceed the event. Models were Heath Tolleson with Felix T Jack; Marvin Boterra with WallStreet Western Too; Frank Dubuisson, Sr. with Texaholic; Michelle McWhorter with The Pink Butterfly; Christy Wright with Two Ps and Calli’s, Debbie White with Gracious Ladies, Lisa Patti with Tarry on the Square; Nancy Taylor and Sandy Davis with Wildflower; Natalie Kirschner with My Happy Place, Lora Martinez and Andra Cole with River House and Danelia Calderon with Jeanne’s Fashions.

Models carried numbered lollipop signs that coordinated with the vendors who were on hand to fit clients with their fashions after viewing them on the runway.

Champagne and hors d’oeuvres were served.

Proceeds from the event, like all Wimberley Community Civic Club activities, are returned to the community in the form of grants and scholarships. For more information, visit wimberleyccc.org.
