Herbal Jelly Making, 9:30 a.m. Craft Lab space at the Wimberley Village Library 400 FM2325, Hill Country Unit of the Herb Society of America. Vickie Cleland, who has a booth at Wimberley Market Days, will also talk about edible plants and herbs that can easily be grown and harvested. She will offer tasting samples and recipes. Each month, The Hill Country Unit features guest speakers, educational programs, or hands-on activities to promote the use of herbs for health, cooking, or home care.

Starlight Symphony Orchestra performs in Driftwood, October 12, 7 p.m. at the Wimberley Valley Winery, 2825 Lone Man Mountain Rd, Driftwood and on October 13, they will perform at 4:30 p.m. at the Wimberley First Baptist Church, 15951 Winters Mill Pkwy. Conducted by David Oertel, their program includes “The Thieving Magpie” by Rossini, “Adagio for Strings” by Barber, “Jupiter” by Holst, and the “Fifth Symphony” by Beethoven.
