The Civic Club’s popular “Sip, See, Shop” Style Show and Market returns October 9 to the Wimberley Community Center. The happy hour style show and market showcases fashion from a dozen area businesses. Guests can sip and nibble while watching runway models show fall and winter fashions and shop vendor booths before and after the show.
Ken Strange emcees the event while Trish Rigdon serves as fashion commentator. All proceeds will go to Wimberley area non-profits and scholarships for graduating high school seniors.
“We look forward to sharing the fashions and vendor booths of participating local boutiques while enjoying a fun happy hour,” said Civic Club president Becky Williams.
Tickets are available online at wimberleyccc. org. The regular ticket includes two drink tickets; VIP ticket includes limited, reserved front row seats and three drink tickets. Additional drink tickets are available at wimberleyccc. org and at the event.
The style show is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and the Wimberley Community Center is located at 14068 RR 12. Ample parking is available.
The Wimberley Community Civic Club supports the Wimberley Valley area through grants and scholarships. Last year the organization granted $40,100 to 28 local organizations and $26,900 to 9 high school graduates. All proceeds from the Style Show and Market event will help support the community.
