Wimberley Fire and Rescue go head to head with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office in their annual Battle of the Badges contest on October 5.
The Hays County Sheriff’s Office called the meeting an epic showdown on the diamond and urged supporters to come out and cheer their chosen team.
The faceoff begins at 4 p.m. at the Wimberley Independent School District’s Baseball Complex at 290 BallPark Rd. in Wimberley. Concessions and a 50/50 raffle will be available.
The cost to attend the competition is $7 for adults and $3 for kids. Children under two are free. All proceeds go to the Wimberley Youth Sports Association and the American Cancer Society.
