The No.1 Texans swept through non-district play once again, sweeping both the Lockhart Lions and the Cuero Gobblers.
The pair of Wimberley wins pushes the Texans winning streak to 11 games while also winning 11 straight sets.
The Texans started their week at home against Lockhart.
Wimberley kicked off the game in dominating fashion with a 25--14 win in the first set. The Texans followed up the first set with another dominating win in the second set, 25-15. Wimberley closed out the game strong in the third set with a 25-8 win and completed the sweep.
Senior Laney Hennessee and junior Addison Parks led the team in kills with eight apiece. Cameron Thames was third in kills with six.
Juniors Skylar Herring and Carson Peoples had 14 and 12 assists each. Junior Lilli Sandoval led the team in blocks with six while senior Rhagen Masur led the team in digs with nine.
Wimberley closed out their week on the road against Cuero.
The Texans rolled to a first set victory, winning 25-15. However the Gobblers came fighting back and made it close before the Texans closed out the second, winning 25-22.
Wimberley completed the sweep with another close set win 2522 in the third set.
Hennessee led the team in kills with 19, followed by Parks with 16. Junior Mariah Mc-Coy led the team in blocks with three, while Hennessee led the team in digs, with 13 to complete the double. Peoples led the team in assists with 27.
