The Wimberley Players open their run of “Now & Then,” a romantic dramedy, 7:30 p.m., 150 Old Kyle Rd. The play’s ever-thickening plot unfolds as a mysterious elderly gentleman enters a bar late one evening and makes a young couple an offer they find irresistable. The Wimberley Library celebrates their 50th Anniversary alongside their formal Grand Opening of the new and renovated library, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the library, 400 FM2325. More at wimberleylibrary.org.

A Suicide Awareness Walk, a collaboration between WISD’s Wellness Center, the Greater Mercy Foundation and Wimberley Parks and Rec, begins 9 a.m. at Blue Hole Regional Park Pavilion. The brief walk concludes with a Health and Wellness Fair at the Pavilion.
September 13, 14 and 15 The Chamber’s Wimberley Venue Crawl, a three-day tour of 13 wedding and event venues, kicks off at Creekhaven Inn and Spa, 400 Mill Creek Ln, September 13, 4 to 6 p.m., with live music, food and drinks.
