The Wimberley’s Chamber of Commerce’s first ever Venue Crawl takes place September 13, 14 and 15. Designed to introduce the public to wedding and event venues in the Wimberley area, the Venue Crawl kicks off with a reception at Creekhaven Inn and Spa on Friday, September 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. with live music, food and drinks. Participants will pick up their wristbands during the kick off party.
Sixteen venues, 13 wedding venues and three sub event venues, came together through the Wimberley Chamber of Commerce, to offer a unique and immersive experience for couples planning to tie the knot.
Couples will get a comprehensive look at various options in and around Wimberley, allowing them to compare styles, amenities and atmospheres in a way that is both enjoyable and efficient. Crawl stops can include guided tours of venues and their overnight accommodations, meet-andgreets with vendors, refreshments, door prizes, sample setups for ceremonies and receptions and other activities.
The crawl offers a shuttle service to the venues that can be purchased in addition to a one-day or multiple- day ticket. Ticket holders who visit every event and venue will be entered into a Grand Prize drawing.
Tickets are $35 to $70 per person. For the 3-day Venue Crawl for all 16 events and 13 venues, the cost is $35. Tickets for the Venue Crawl with a 3-day shuttle pass is $70. The Venue Crawl with a one-day shuttle pass is $47. An additional pass for fiancés or girlfriends is $15, and an additional pass for Mom or your bestie, plus the 3-day shuttle pass, is $51.
Participating venues and their hosting hours are: Friday September 13: Creekhaven Inn and Spa, 4 to 6 p.m.; Inspiring Oaks Ranch, 5 to 8 p.m.; and Black Canyon Wimberley, 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday September 14: Messina Inn, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Vintage Oaks Farm, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Rustx Ranch, 1 to 3 p.m.; The Bell House, 1 to 5 p.m.; Old Glory Ranch, 1 to 5 p.m.; The Cedars Ranch, 2 to 7 p.m.; The Videre Estate, 2 to 7 p.m.; and Montesino Ranch, 5 to 8 p.m.
Sunday September 15 Square Inn, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Water’s Point, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Wildflower Country Inn & Event Center, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Spoon Mountain, Noon to 2 p.m.; and Onera, 1 to 3 p.m.
