Is It Just Me?

I am chock full of good intentions. I also have three shelves full of vitamins and other supplements. I think with my “not-the-healthiest- diet,” extra vitamins are needed.
I read online about people whose whole lives changed for the better because they took certain vitamins and supplements. They were very inspiring. Some people wrote about a combination of vitamins that gave them a muscular and beautiful body. They even showed before and after pictures, so I know they work. I have dreamed of having a body like theirs.
I ordered all they recommended.
Informed people and on-line medical personnel recommend capsules for your mood, energy, circulation, memory, immune system, young looking skin, thicker hair, memory and for any of your body organs you think need work. Wait, I think I said “memory” twice, so I really need help. I ordered all of them too.
The problem is, I bought all of those vitamins but now I don’t remember which one to take for what part of my body or brain. Maybe if I knew which of those vitamins or supplements were for memory, I would know what all of my stash was for.
I do take my multivitamin and a few other supplements every day. Then I add one or two of the mystery vitamins that I can reach. So far, I haven’t felt any difference in my stamina or looks. I check every day.
It seems like too much work to Google each of my three shelves of miracle pills and capsules to find out their individual uses. Sometimes people note that they use different ones for things you would never expect, but of course, I never saved those articles. An organized person would have used a marker to write what each bottle is used for. I am not that person, but I do have a black marker.
And don’t get me started on my refrigerator full of medicinal- purpose, “but I don’t know what they are for,” herbs and spices.
