Wimberley’s Fourth of July Parade, 9:30 a.m. to noonish, along RR12, across the Cypress Creek bridge, past the Square and the Blanco River, to its culmination at Sonora Bank on Stillwater. Roads along the parade route close at 9:30 a.m. and reopen approximately between noon and 1 p.m., after the parade.

12th Annual Patriotic Concert, 3 to 4:30 p.m., performed by the Wimberley Community Chorus and the Hill Country Community Band, at the First Baptist Church, 5951 Winters Mill Pkwy. No charge to attend, donations welcome.

Fireworks and Concert at the Wimberley VFW Hall Rodeo arena, 401 Jacob’s Well Road. Concert begins at 7 p.m. and features Bob Livingston of the famed Lost Gonzo Band and Bradley Kopp. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. Bring refreshments and camp chairs. No charge to attend. Fourth of July Freedom Party, noon to 10 p.m., at the newly opened Willow Lake Watering Hole, 110 Old Kyle Road. Features Guys Forsyth, Marvin Bottera and Friends, the Hill Country Honeys and DJ El Gato. Tickets are $17; kids under 12 are free.

The Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18 and up organized by the Wimberley Valley Library. Classes are held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Farmers and Artisan market, a community-based endeavor, specializes in fresh foods from growers and welcomes art, craft and other vendors. Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Cowboy Church, 120 Green Acres Dr. The Wimberley Valley Museum located in the historic Winters-Wimberley House, 14068 Ranch Rd 12, is open for visitors on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, and on the first Friday and Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information, go to wimwic. org. MONTHLY EVENTS

Coffee and Cars is held the first Sunday of the month at Blanco Brew, 14200 RR12, from 8 to 11 a.m. Drivers with a hot rod, muscle car, sports car, exotic vehicle, classic truck or otherwise unique ride are welcome to put their car on display. For information, go to 12kingscarclub.com.

The Wimberley Valley Quilt Guild meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Wimberley Presbyterian Church at 956 RR2325.
