Community carnival at The Patch

June 15 is shaping up to be a day filled with family fun. The Wimberley United Methodist Church is hosting a Community Carnival at The Patch, their outdoor area at the corner of RR12 and CR1492, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The free event will feature an obstacle course designed for all ages, a variety of games, complimentary snacks, a temporary tattoo parlor and tasty food from the Schoolyard Dogs Food Truck. Open to everyone, all members of the community are encouraged to attend, especially those open to new friends.

“We are thrilled to host this carnival and bring together the community for a day of fun and fellowship,” said Courtenay Kehl, Director of Family Ministry at Wimberley United Methodist Church. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to come together, enjoy great food and entertainment, and experience the warmth and hospitality of our church community.”

The Wimberley United Methodist Church is a community of faith that offers radical hospitality and compassionate Christ-led ministries for hope-filled lives. Dedicated to serving the community through faith, love, and action, the church welcomes everyone with open hearts, open minds and open doors.
