The EmilyAnn Theatre will present the musical, “Into the Woods,” May 31, at the EmilyAnn Burdine Johnson Indoor Studio Theatre. Performances continue through June 9. The Wimberley Metaphysical and Holistic Fair is being held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Wimberley Community Center, 14068 Ranch Road 12. The fair has free admission, free parking and offers free lectures on a variety of topics. On Saturday and Sunday, workshops and therapies are available. June 2
The Hill Country Community Band will present a concert of “Showpieces for Band” at Avey Hall in the Chapel of the Hills Church, 14601 Ranch Road 12, on Sunday, June 2, at 4:00 P.M. The concert will feature “The Overture of 1812,” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, along with favorites from Richard Wagner, Leonard Bernstein, and Glenn Osser. Directed by Dr. Manuel Arambula, the concert is family friendly and free to all.
June 3
The Wimberley Community Chorus will hold rehearsals every Monday evening in June, 7 to 9 p.m. at Chapel in the Hills, Avey Hall, 14601 RR 12, in preparation for the 4th of July Patriotic Concert with the Hill Country Community Band.
