“Doubt: A Parable,” continues this Friday, Saturday and ends this Sunday on the Wimberley Players stage. The opening reception for the “Water Weighs” exhibition at the 220 Gallery, 4 to 7 p.m., 220 Old Kyle Road explores the beauty, force and matter of water in the Hill Country. Work by 13 Hill Country Artists in this juried show. The exhibit continues through July 20.

The Wimberley Birding Society will host speaker Jennifer Bristol, author of two books, “Parking Lot Birding” and “Cemetery Birding” at the Wimberley Community Center at 10 a.m., 14068 RR12. The public is invited to attend.
