The opening reception for the ProjectMENTOR exhibition will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at ARTSPACE, 111 River Rd., Suite 100. It will show the work of 14 student artists alongside the work of their professional artist mentors. The exhibition will be on display Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturdays noon to 5 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through May 26.

The Wimberley Community Chorus performs Friday, May 10 at 7 p.m., Saturday May 11 at 7 p.m., and Sunday May 12 at 3 p.m. in Avey Hall at Chapel in the Hills, 14601 RR12. “Doubt: A Parable,” at the Wimberley Playhouse continues through May 19. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $25, available online at wimberleyplayers.org or by calling 512 847-0575. The Wimberley Playhouse is located at 450 Old Kyle Road.

Adult Sand Volleyball, Tuesdays, 5 to 8 p.m. at Blue Hole Regional Park. Six person teams, for ages 18 and up. Person fee $20; Team fee $105. Pre-registration required at wimberleyparksandrec.com. Check the website for fall volleyball dates.

Project Oasis, a collaboration between Wimberley-Arts.org and Deer Creek Nursing and Rehab Center is holding an event at Suzanne Oliver’s 220 Gallery, 220 Old Kyle Road, from 5 - 7 p.m. to discuss the renovation of the Deer Creek courtyard. Wine and small bites, courtesy of Jaclynn Renee Wines and Justin Downes, are part of the festivities. Interested public are invited to attend.

The Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18 and up organized by the Wimberley Valley Library. Classes are held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
Farmers and Artisan market, a community-based endeavor, specializes in fresh foods from growers and welcomes art, craft and other vendors.
