Marriage and family center opens

With marriage and family at the heart of its operations, the Hope Restored Retreat Center will launch its fifth center on March 23 with an open house at 13633 FM2325 in Wimberley. On hand for the grand opening will be Texas State Representative Tim Roth and Chad Robichaux, author, philanthropist, and founder of the Mighty Oaks Foundation and Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs.

The Hope Restored program is a Christian counseling intensive for couples facing a crisis in their marriage or who have suffered from years of disconnection and relationship decay. The program’s licensed Christian counselors are trained to work with couples with deep hurts and long-term problems or with couples struggling with post traumatic stress disorder.

The center claims that they’ve helped more than 11,000 couples since 2003, and that 99% of those surveyed after a Hope Restored intensive said they would recommend it to others. Their other centers are in Missouri, Michigan, Georgia and Arizona.

In addition to remarks from Center’s president Jim Daly, there will be a brief talk from a couple who claims their marriage was saved by going through the Hope Restored program 16 years ago.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. followed by food, music and an open house at the campus from 2 to 4 p.m.
