Dear patrons and library supporters:
We want to inform you about the latest developments regarding our expansion/renovation project.
Due to the need to move to the new expansion area, the library will be closed from March 11 to April 1. During this period, our staff will be busy preparing for the move and emptying the current building to make way for the renovation to begin.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption to your library routine. Any items currently checked out will automatically extend their due dates during the closure. Furthermore, we want to remind everyone that our outdoor book return will remain available. Rest assured that no fines will be charged during the closure. The tentative date for the library to reopen to the public is April 1 in the new space, marking the beginning of the renovation phase.
The renovation is estimated to take approximately 2 to 3 months to complete. We will be working hard to ensure that everything goes as planned. While the renovation is underway, adult fiction, adult non-fiction, youth, and teen collections will be accessible in the new area. However, due to space constraints, the Spanish collection, audiobooks, DVDs, and computer access will not be available. Furthermore, please note that the meeting room will not be available during this time as part of the book collection will occupy the new room.
Consequently, adult programs will be temporarily paused until the renovation is finished and the library resources are relocated back to the current building.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this transition period. We can’t wait for you to see how amazing the new area looks, and we look forward to welcoming you back to a refreshed and improved library space in the near future.
Thank you for your continued support of the library.
