The Wimberley Valley Watershed Association, in partnership with the Trinity Edwards Springs Protection Association, is holding a meeting February 9 at 6 p.m. in the Wimberley Community Center to discuss their collective efforts to address water issues in our area. The Community Center is located at 14068 Ranch Rd 12.

The Central Texas Theatre Academy presents “That’s Amore Valentine’s Dinner and Music Revue,” February 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The fundraiser includes love songs, skits, a three-course Italian dinner and a silent auction that benefits the student scholarship fund at CTTA. Tickets are $70 per couple and are available at centextheatre.org/events. CTTA is located at 12111 RR 12 in Wimberley.
February 10
A “Little Taste of Heaven” tasting event will feature a pasta dinner at the Duchman Family Winery in Driftwood, February 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. to benefit Camp CommUnity’s summer camp programs. An Italian buffet, a glass of wine and music by the Hill Country Honeys is included in the ticket price. Adult tickets are $35, tickets for kids are $15 and kids under ten get in free. Wimberley United Methodist Church will be hosting a free pancake supper in honor of Shrove Tuesday, also known as Fat Tuesday, on February 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The family-friendly event will include activities for children. The Wimberley UMC is located at 1200 County Rd 1492.

The Wimberley Valley Big Band will present a free concert and dance February 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the VFW Hall to celebrate Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day. Mardi Gras costumes are welcome. BYOB. Snacks sold by VFW Auxiliary. The VFW Post #6441 is located at 401 Jacobs Well Rd.
February 14
Wimberley Parks and Recreation department is hosting a Valentine’s Day Gala at the Community Center from 7 to 10 p.m. Live music by “Five O’Clock Somewhere,” playing ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s music and a catered dinner by Railroad Bar-B-Que is included in the $40 per person ticket. The Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18 and up organized by the Wimberley Valley Library. Classes are held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
Farmers and Artisan market, a community-based endeavor, specializes in fresh foods from growers and welcomes art, craft and other vendors. Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Cowboy Church, 120 Green Acres Dr. The Wimberley Valley Museum located in the historic Winters-Wimberley House, 14068 Ranch Rd 12, is open for visitors on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, and on the first Friday and Saturday of the month from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. For information, go to wimwic.org.

Coffee and Cars is held the first Sunday of the month at Blanco Brew, 14200 RR12, from 8 to 11 a.m. Drivers with a hot rod, muscle car, sports car, exotic vehicle, classic truck or otherwise unique ride are welcome to put their car on display. For information, go to 12kingscarclub.com.
The Wimberley Valley Quilt Guild meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Wimberley Presbyterian Church at 956 RR2325. Social time is at 10 a.m., followed by a brief business meeting at 10:30 a.m.
