Wimberley Democrats will hold a Democratic Candidate Forum, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Main Hall of the Oldham-Cummings VFW Post 6441, 401 Jacobs Well Road. A candidate meet and greet will take place from 2:30 to 3 p.m. for uncontested candidates, followed by a moderated program from 3 to 5:30 p.m. for races with multiple candidates. The League of Women Voters is holding a wine tasting event, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Community Center, 14068 RR12. Fine wines, delectable snacks and a silent auction are part of the festivities. The Knights of Columbus present their annual Mardi Gras Casino Night, from 6 to 10 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Activity Center, 14711 Ranch Road 12. Gaming, dinner, dessert, an open bar and prize drawings are part of the fun. Proceeds will go toward the Wimberley Valley Responders Appreciation Luncheon on March 21.

Farmers and Artisan market, a community-based endeavor, specializes in fresh foods from growers and welcomes art, craft and other vendors.
