January 20
An exhibition titled “Shape Shift” featuring five Texas artists opens January 20 at ARTSPACE, 111 River Road, and continues through February 24. Guitar recital with Mark Anthony Cruz, 3 p.m. at the Wimberley United Methodist Church to raise funds for the Texas State University Hill country Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival and Competition. Cruz will be joined by guitarists Matthew Montonya, Sophie Reel and Marina de la Cruz Medrano.

The Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18 and up organized by the Wimberley Valley Library. Classes are held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
Farmers and Artisan market, a community-based endeavor, specializes in fresh foods from growers and welcomes art, craft and other vendors. Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Cowboy Church, 120 Green Acres Dr. The Wimberley Valley Museum located in the historic Winters-Wimberley House, 14068 Ranch Rd 12, is open for visitors on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, and on the first Friday and Saturday of the month from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. For information, go to wimwic.org.
