Free income tax return preparation begins February 2 at the Wimberley Community Center. Offered by the American Association of Retired Persons Foundation, the TaxAide program is available to anyone who wishes assistance. There are no income or age limitations and AARP membership is not required. Normally held at the Wimberley Village Library, TaxAide has been moved to the Community Center at 14608 RR 12 because of library renovations.
TaxAide hours are Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will continue through April 12.
Starting January 16, interested persons may sign up for appointments at the Senior Center inside the Community Center and pick up forms. For information go to WimberleyTaxAide. info.
