Tennyson Moreno announced his campaign for State Representative House District 45 last week. In August, Tennyson announced his bid for a local County Commissioner seat, but when it was clear that race would have several qualified candidates, Tennyson made the bold decision to switch races.
“I am running for the Texas House of Representatives to protect families, neighborhoods, and our conservative principles in Hays County,” said Tennyson. “High cost of living, and high crime rates are major issues. We need smart, safe, and sustainable solutions to our problems.”
A sixth generation Texan, Tennyson attends Texas State University and is a graduate of the Tarrant County College’s Professional Pilot & Flight Science Program. He is a licensed pilot and the Vice-Chair of the Airport Advisory Board for San Marcos Regional Airport. He is an active volunteer at the Commemorative Air Force and is the Chair of the Hays County Young Republicans.
