Emily Ann Trail of Lights, Sunday through Thursday 6 - 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 6 - 10 p.m., at Emily Ann Gardens, 101 FM2325. Eight miles of lighted exhibits, train rides, live music most nights, and Santa sightings. Donations accepted. For more, visit emilyann. org.

December 15

The Central Texas Theatre Academy’s Annual Princess Holiday Ball, 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Community Center, 14068 RR12. Dress as Elsa, Anna, Belle, Rapunzel, Aurora or your favorite princess. Dancing, singing, Holiday Tea Party, crafts and a surprise visit by “youknow- who.” Tickets are $35 for the first child and $25 for additional siblings; adults are $15. Limited Seating. December 16

Breakfast with Santa, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the former Scudder Primary School, 400 Green Acres Drive. Pancake and sausage breakfast, craft activities, a visit with Santa and live holiday music by the Hill Country Band. Children will receive the gift of a new book. Advance tickets are $5 for children and $8 for adults online at wimberleyccc.org when purchased by December 14. Tickets purchased at the door are for $8 for children and $10 for adults.

December 16

Second annual Christmas Carol Train Ride on the Pioneer Express with Santa, 1 - 5 p.m., at 7A Ranch, 333 Wayside Drive. Ride with Santa, sing carols and take in the beautiful views of the Hill Country. Ride times are 1 and 1:30 p.m., 2 and 2:30 p.m., 3 and 3:30 p.m., 4 and 4:30 p.m. Last ride is at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 plus tax.

Children under two years of age, free. In the event of inclement weather, rides will be canceled.

December 16

The Universal Love of Dolls exhibition opening, 4 - 7 p.m. at the 220 Fine Art Gallery at 220 Old Kyle Road.

The exhibit explores the cultural, psychological and spiritual significance of dolls. For additional information go to 220gallery.com.

December 21

Susan Gibson performs at Susanna’s Kitchen, 7:30 p.m., Wimberley United Methodist Church, corner of RR12 and CR1492. Tickets $25, only at the door. Tamales, pizza and pie available for purchase.

Adult Craft LAB with Wimberley Library

Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18+. Classes are held virtually via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Supply kits are free and included with each class.

Farmers and Artisan Market

The Farmers & Artisan Market is a community-based event specializing in fresh foods from growers. The market welcomes a variety of vendors with crafts, art and more. Join Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Cowboy Church.

Wimberley Valley Museum

The Wimberley Valley Museum, located in the Winters-Wimberley House, is open for visitors every Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and on the first weekend of each month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Friday and Saturday).

MONTHLY EVENTS Coffee and Cars at Blanco Brew

Coffee & Cars is held the First Sunday of every month at Blanco Brew, 14200 RR 12, in Wimberley from 8 to 11 a.m. Anyone with a hot rod, muscle car, sports car, exotic, classic truck or unique ride is welcome to put their car on display.

DAR Meeting

The Jacob’s Well Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution meets in Wimberley every second Monday. Join our mission of historic preservation, patriotism and education in service to our community by contacting jacobswellnsdar@gmail. com.

Wimberley Garden Club

Conquer the challenges of gardening in the Hill Country at the Wimberley Garden Club, the second Wednesday of every month, September to May, in the meeting room at the EmilyAnn Theatre. Presentations at 10. Details at wimberleygardenclub.org.

Overeaters Anonymous
