The Wimberley Lady Texan basketball team has turned their season around. After a slow 2-4 start, they now find themselves at 6-5 as they played five games in five days only losing one.
On Tuesday, they went to Lago Vista (4-6) and won in dominating fashion with a final score of 59-20.
Wimberley was back at it on Thursday at home against the Homeschool Texas Lions (14-2) and took that game 60-50.
On Friday, the Lady Texans started their weekend tournament run in Navarro with a double header beating the Seguin Matadors (313) in the first of two games with a final score of 68-29. In the second game, the Texans lost a close one against the Cuero Gobblers (12-3) by one point in a low scoring game with a final score of 34-33.
In their fifth and final game of the week, the Texans took on the Lytle Pirates (12-5) and got it done with another dominating performance winning 61-39. Wimberley finished the tournament in third place.
