The Wimberley Valley Art League held its first Blue Agave Art Fair last weekend in the Blanco Room of the Wimberley Community Center.
The two-day festival held a reception the first evening for VIPs and artists who gathered to meet each other and forge relationships. A further testament to the community’s artistic force, the festival brought together painters working in a variety of mediums, jewelry artists, photographers, fiber workers, sculptors, woodworkers and other accomplished creatives.
Organizers say the fair will be an annual event.
