The Wimberley Knights of Columbus Council 9151 celebrated their 20th Anniversary Hunters Night Out on Saturday, Oct. 21 by awarding $100,000 to local charities and organizations.
Over 1,300 people turned out to make the 20th HNO the most successful event ever.
“Hunters Night Out is successful because of the unified commitment by the Knights to hold an event that allows them to give back to the community in a variety of ways and because of the generous support of the community and HNO sponsors,” said Knight Gary Barchfeld.
In his concluding remarks on Saturday evening, Grand Knight Ted Woods congratulated all of the award recipients.
“This is a better place we live in because of these incredible organizations,” he continued. “Thank you to all of you very special people whose generosity made tonight happen.”
