I highly recommend Aurora LeBrun for the Woodcreek City Council. She brings senior leadership and strength of purpose to the table for tackling critical city issues such as drainage, water conservation, traffic control/pedestrian safety, short term rentals and fiscal obligations. She had experience at the local, state and federal levels for engaging complex issues to seek common ground without being combative, defensive or arrogant. Aurora is always well prepared and is a tough negotiator, which are essential to solving the issues facing our city.
As a former council member, she spearheaded an effort to acquire a modest federal grant to begin a drainage program that is needed to prevent erosion of our newly paved streets and to minimize the flooding of homes. During the same period, as chair of the city roads committee, she kickstarted the paving of Woodcreek Drive and formulated future fiscal options to pave the remaining city streets. She believes that traffic control and pedestrian safety are paramount concerns that require expert recommendations and options, as opposed to a shotgun approach which locates devices on streets throughout the city without a thorough engineering study and a citizen consensus.
During her professional career, Aurora acquired an understanding of the budget process, and she has used this expertise during her previous council tours. In these days of financial uncertainties, her talent will guide the city in the proper financial direction.
Aurora believes that the primary functions of the city council are to define policy and to perform
does not use social media to criticize or condemn her opponents but is very professional and works well with others. No turmoil; no drama! Please vote for Aurora. Woodcreek needs her.
