“As part of the LWV of Hays County mission to empower voters, the candidate forums are a valuable resource for voters to fully inform themselves before heading to the vote center,” said Marilyn Minnaar, President of the LWV of Hays County. “The U.S. Census reports that Hays County experienced the fastest rate of growth in 2020 adding over 83,000 new residents, many of whom are eligible voters, and continues to grow by three percent. The LWV encourages new Hays County voters to view these local forums to learn of and experience the candidates vying for their votes.”
According to their website, LWV is a nonpartisan organization fully committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in principle and in practice. For more, visit lwvhaysco. com.
