Carol was a life-long educator, retiring from Alief School District in Houston where she held posts in the classroom and administration. After retirement, she and Jerre moved to the hill country to their beloved community in Driftwood, Texas. She loved her community of Driftwood and was a board member for the Wimberley Library.

Carol loved her family, her community and life. A private family celebration of that life will be held at a later date.
