The first ever Really Chili Cook Off attracted many cooks this past Saturday as they pitted their chili recipes against one another.
The event was organized by Richard Anzaldua, owner of Hill Country BBQ and was hosted by Cypress Falls.
Onlookers were treated to delicious chiles while vendors set up shop to sell their products from jewelry, crafts, and various food products.
Live music was also part of the kickoff as musicians treated people to a nice relaxing Saturday morning.
Taking first place was Marisol Anzaldua while Bruce Smith took first place in the bean division.
