As announced earlier this year, The Wimberley Players launched a new community outreach initiative offering 20 free tickets to randomly selected local businesses or organizations for the opening weekend of each of their five 2023 season productions.

The most recent recipients of this initiative were the employees of the Fysical Therapy and Balance Centers of Wimberley and San Marcos. The business was given access to 20 free tickets for the Wimberley Players’ production of “And Then There Were None” that opened on June 30.

“The manager, Darcey Bentley, was thrilled with the offer,” said Karin Cunningham, WP vice president of marketing. “We are so grateful to them for coming out and especially for spreading the word about our little theater.”

Businesses or organizations interested in being considered to receive these tickets are invited to submit their request by emailing Cunningham at marketing@wimberleyplayers. org. The next production eligible for free tickets is “A Streetcar Named Desire,” opening September 7. For more information on the Players’ 2023 season, visit wimberleyplayers.org.
