There are new officers in town, belonging to the local VFW.
Wimberley’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6441, at its regular June meeting, held installation ceremonies for its 2023-2024 officers.
Post member and former commander Larry Merkin acted as the installing officer for the evening.
Officers installed included Commander Huey Sandifer, Senior Vice Commander Manuel Grafia, Quartermaster Michael McAlpin, Adjutant Joe Visconti, Trustee Duane Brassow and Chaplain Tom Zalewski.
Officers are responsible for the day-to-day post operations and activities.
