The Wimberley Civic Club is pleased to continue its tradition of offering financial aid to students who have a record of achievement and who need financial assistance to pursue educational goals beyond high school. Applications will be considered for a traditional university or for a qualifying non-traditional institution of higher learning such as a trade or culinary school.
Applications can now be downloaded from the Wimberley Community Civic Club website (wimberleyccc.org), the Wimberley High School scholarship link, or the KAPS school website.
Completed applications for WHS, KAPS, and home-schooled students are due on Monday, March 29, 2022, and should be turned in to the school guidance counselors. Homeschooled applicants may turn in their application at a box outside the KAPS entry doors. Applications that are late or incomplete won’t be considered.
If there are questions, applicants may talk to their school counselor. No one from the Civic Club may talk with the applicants or their parents about the applications.
If a scholarship is awarded, winners are required to supply WCCC with proof of enrollment by August 12, 2022. Proof of enrollment can be a copy of a school ID or class schedule. If the applicant fails to comply, the student will not receive scholarship money.
The Wimberley Community Civic Club is a 501(c)3 organization that returns all profits to the community through donations to local non-profit organizations and scholarships to graduating seniors attending local schools.
