Earlier this fall, the city of Woodcreek recognized several of its citizens with the coveted “Spirit of Woodcreek” award, presented by Councilmember Brent Pulley and Mayor Rasco.
This award was given to Jane Little and the Weeders of Woodcreek, a volunteer organization organized and chaired by Little. The award is intended to recognize citizens and volunteers who go out of their way to help the city and their neighbors, according to Woodcreek Mayor Jeff Rasco.
“The Weeders of Woodcreek work throughout the year on beautification projects,” he explained. “[With this award], they were recognized for their superior work and efforts to maintain the main entrance to Woodcreek on Ranch Road 12. Jane and her group contributed an immeasurable service to the community.”
