Lover’s Soiree

The 220 Fine Art Gallery is hosting their first annual Lover’s Soiree and Toast to the Artists, February 17, from 5 to 9 p.m. A special, temporary exhibition of new work by Trisha McWaters awaits art lovers along with traditional Valentine’s Day treats of champagne, cherries and chocolate.

For this exhibition, McWaters has created “soulful landscapes.”

“Some artists make pretty art,” said reviewer Mark Lesley Smith. “Trisha McWaters drinks from a deeper well. While there is stunning beauty in her photographs — rich colors, meticulous compositions — there is also evidence of an eye that sees soulfulness in even the most mundane things. If you want art from that “third eye”, McWaters is your artist.”

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite or finest outfits, bring their lover or friend, and celebrate the Stars of the Show, the artists of the 220 Fine Art Gallery.
